Remote Learning
Earlier this week we heard that the government's plans to expand the reopening of schools have been dropped which means that we shall not see our Year 2, 3, 4 and 5 children until September at the earliest.
However, I am pleased to report that we have almost completed the set up of Google Classroom and following the success of last week's Virtual Assembly, I delivered Uffington School's very first live lesson to Y5/6 children working from home.
Who would have thought that we would be working this way at the beginning of Lockdown? We are committed to providing as much support as possible for home learning for those children who are not in school and hope that more live lessons will soon become reality for all those learning from home...
