School Organisation
There are three stages within the primary age range:
Foundation Stage | Reception (4 - 5 year olds) |
---|---|
Key Stage 1 | Years 1 and 2 (5 – 7 year olds) |
Key Stage 2 | Years 3 to 6 (7 – 11 year olds) |
Our children are organised into four classes as follows: Reception; Year 1 / 2; Year 3 / 4; and Year 5 / 6.
In Key Stage 2 some subjects are taught by different members of staff according to curriculum expertise.
All children are together for collective worship, hymn practices and other times as appropriate.
The pupil: teacher ratio at the present time is 25:1.
