Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education
The PSHEE programme provided by our school covers a wide variety of areas concerned with the physical, mental and social well-being of our children. We often call upon the services of other professionals such as the School Nurse, Police Officers and Fire Safety Officers to help us in our delivery.
Part of the health education programme for older juniors covers sex education; this programme is presented within a moral, family-orientated and Christian framework. Parents have the right to withdraw their children from sex education lessons if they so wish: a letter seeking parental permission for children to receive sex education is sent home prior to any sex education teaching.
