On Tuesday Nadya of Stamford Georgian Festival came into school to run a lantern making workshop. The children made beautiful lanterns inspired by the hot air balloons of the Georgian age. These will be used in the town's festival parade on Saturday 28th September. See the Gallery under the Pupils tab for more photos.

On Thursday we welcomed two visitors from Parliament; Malcolm Smith and David Clarke spoke to the children about how Parliament operates. The children particularly enjoyed using hand-held voting pods to answer questions and register their opinions!
