ICT and Computing
The school has a networked suite of PCs with internet access. In addition, there are a number of classroom-based computers, laptop computers with wireless connection to the network and iPads. Each classroom has a touchscreen interactive panel.
ICT is promoted throughout the curriculum and all children are taught the necessary skills through a structured programme starting in the Foundation Stage.
The National Curriculum includes 'Computing'. The emphasis is upon Computer Science in which pupils are taught the principals of information and computation, how digital systems work, and how to put this knowledge to use through programming.
