PARENT TEACHER ASSOCIATION

As parents with children in school, you become an automatic member of the school P.T.A. This is an association set up for the benefit of all connected to Uffington School – Children, Staff, Governors, Parents and Friends.

Social and fund-raising events are organised throughout the year. Recent events have included Social Evenings, Christmas Fayre, Quiz Night, Mothering Sunday Shop and Uffington Scarecrow Adventure. the PTA usually organised a Mufti Day and Cake Sale just before each half term. The PTA regularly subsidise school trips and events. They also make significant contributions towards the cost of major purchases such as computer equipment.

Informal meetings, to which ALL parents are invited, are held on a regular basis in The Bertie Arms.
